LenSx® Laser Cataract Surgery

Just as lenses have advanced in the technology for cataract surgery, so has the actual procedure!

In February of 2010, Dr. Stephen Slade, MD was the FIRST surgeon in the United States to perform cataract surgery with a femtosecond laser. This means he is the surgeon with the MOST experience doing “laser cataract surgery” in the nation.

Dr. Slade has found great success with the addition of this laser and has determined that the visual results that his patients have had after surgery are much better than those who have chosen to have the manual procedure.
